What I learned about downloading and what sean didn't tell you: ::waps sean::
1. - Number one is optional, if you plan to dowload lots of anime, Sean recomends this site:
www.divx.comFor downloading DivX player.
[glow=Blue,2,300]What is a DivX player?[/glow]
DivX is a player that is best when downloading and watching Anime. However, if your not going to be doing alot of that, and you just want to download Inuyasha 3, your out of luck. This player doesn't support whatever the hell it is Inuyasha 3 needs to run. (see number 2 for details on a player that does)
2. - [glow=Blue,2,300]Recomended for Inuayasha 3[/glow]
To download a player that shows Inuyasha 3. Sean recomends:
www.videolan.org/vlc/That site. Choose your thingy (Windows...mac...ect) then click on the first lines butten that has .exe
(Note: this player didn't work on my computer, if it doesn't work on yours, just delete it)
3. Next you need to download a bit torrent.
[glow=Blue,2,300]What is a bit torrent?[/glow]
Bit Torrent- the program that makes it possible to run .torrent files which can be downloaded at various bit torrent sites. Most .torrent files are anime-related.
Downloading .torrent files- .torrent files are downloaded just like any other direct download, except you are connecting with a seeder (see below). If you choose to cancel a download, you can go back to it later and continue from where you had left off.
[glow=Blue,2,300]What is a seeder?[/glow]
Seeder- a seeder is someone who has finished downloading a file and leaves their download box open for any given amount of time. The number of seeders determines the speed of your download. To become a seeder, just leave open your download box for any amount of time as you please.
[glow=Blue,2,300]What is a leecher?[/glow]
Leecher- a leecher is someone who downloads the files. The rate of time in your download is also affected by the number of leechers.
This is the site Sean recomends to download a bit torrent:
bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html[glow=Blue,2,300]Whats a mirror?!
[/glow]
A Mirror is a copy of a program that is hosted on another site
- Pick the one that is closest to where you live
At first I had trouble downloading it, but then I waited and did it again and it went fine.
The only REAL confusing thing to me about the bit torrent is when you try to use it, sometimes a box pops up and says
"You havn't donated bla bla" and it goes on to explain that he doesn't have a job and how he spends all his time helping people with bit torrents making t-shirts and some other sad crap that no one cares about. Just press no and get on with your downloading.
And finaly, if all went well, where do I download my Anime?
Sean recomends:
www.saiyaman.info/bt/ - this for the Inuyasha movie
www.animesuki.com/ - has over 100 different anime titles!
