Inuyasha's going to end soon... Very soon. "Viz's Toshi Yoshida has confirmed reports that the Inu Yasha TV series is to end soon. At San Diego Comic Con he stated that he had learned from the Japanese producer that episodes 166 and 167 will be a double episode that will mark the end of the series. They will be aired on September 6th. To date the Inu Yasha franchise includes 159 TV episodes (over 6 seasons), 4 TV Specials, and 3 feature movies, with a 4th on the way in December. As previously reported, a trailer for the fourth movie, Guren no Houraijima (Crimson Horai Island) is available at the official InuYasha movie website. Viz will release the InuYasha Season One box set, and the first InuYasha movie, on September 7th." I found it at animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=5295

Inuyasha...is going to end?
...
Wow. I always assumed that it'd keep going forever so they could milk it forever.

Inuyasha Probably wont end on episodes 166-167. Here's a list of reasons Inuyasha probably wont end yet 1. Sunrise has a 200 episode contract with Inuyasha so it cant end yet (not sure if true) 2. They havent introduced a important character from the manga yet (not sure if true) 3. Viz has lied about the ending of Inuyasha before ( not sure if true 4. They wouldnt end it 4 months before the 4th Inuyasha movie comes out 5.they woulnd have enough episodes to make a good ending 6. Inuyasha is one of the top anime's they wouldn't end a good thing like that. 7.If they did cancel they would have to go through lots of crappy petitions and fans trying kill them and make Inuyasha come back. It would be total hell for them. If Inuyasha Does end, then it might be a good thing. to end before it gets to repetative and boring. so it will go out in its prime, as one of the best animes Instead of becoming total crap then ending

1. Contracts can be anulled, or even broken. 2. I don' have a clue on this one either. 3. Once again, no idea. 4. Sure they would. Stranger things have happened. 5. This one's debatable. Set up properly, they could do a fine job in 2 episodes. 6. Then explain all the super-popular anime that only run 26? 7. How...is this a bad thing? I hope if it does end, they don't cave... Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing Inuyasha end. It's already becoming somewhat repetitive...that, and it's already going to cost a FREAKING FORTUNE for me to buy the series!

Accualy, they could end the series with the movie. Happens alot. 6. Hopefully 7. And I'd be with them a butcher knife in my hand and a mouth ready to rip off heads. Lies =_=. Some people think its repetitive, but I don't. I love Inuyasha.
