Yep, I've got it too - GOTY Xbox - and have been playing it recently. Currently playing a Level 8 Breton custom-class Mage...spent WAY too much time just wandering around...and way too much gold on spells I can't cast yet -_- Haven't bothered to go to either of the Expansion areas - Vvardenfell is intimidating enough. The farthest afield I've been was some lake west of Balmora... still got a good 4/5 of the island to explore!  In case anybody hasn't done this yet, do it now... Go to a mage guild, and get teleported to Vivic... and go outside and just LOOK at it all... It's a truly amazing sight...and if you want to take a look from above, there's a shrine in the temple district, near the High Fane - donate some item(I think it's a cure common disease potion, you can buy it inside...) and you'll get a mega-levitate spell... ...Just don't let it run out while you're high in the air. ...I think I may start posting random Morrowind stuff...just for the hell of it... |

...Zwip...still 4/5 of Vvardenfell?  I've covered almost all of Vvardenfell, all of Solstheim, and starting on Mournhould...and I have the ability to change to a werewolf at will...soooo yeah I've played the game for a loooooooooong time >_> |

*shrug* I'm taking the game slow, having fun...just wandering around and exploring a lot.
...A werewolf...at WILL? I was under the assumption that was another disease like Vampirism...
Aaaaanyway, I'm up to level 17 now - mostly from alchemy. I spent most of the morning sitting in front of the alchemist in Balmora buying supplies, making potions, then selling them... Got alchemy up to 85, maxed out my intelligence...found a lot of neat recipies - Levitation, Magika restore, Waterwalking...kept a couple of each around for utility use.
Need to work on my spellcasting - my best attack spell is 50-75 frost damage, no duration, no area...but I can't effectively cast much more than that...need more Magika too...but now that I figured out how to make potions to restore it, it's not that bad anymore.
Oh, and I actually KILLED a Daedra! Ran into it in a ruin on the side of the way to Ghostgate(Foyada Momada? I forget the name...) Sucker took a full load of spells and a bunch of thwacking with a bound mace - dropped a Daedric Tonto. VERY nice weapon, but totally useless for my character...too bad it wasn't a staff.
Sean, perhaps you can help me on this, actually...I've been debating about armor. Being a mage-type, I stuck Unarmored on my minor skills...it's up to about 41 now. Should I stick with Unarmored, since I'm so far in, or start working on armor?
...Either way, that'll help my next character.
...Wowza, long post. *shrug* Expect more. I've decided to follow through on the "Post random crap that happened" idea. ;P
Edit - Don't post before you get your caffene in the morning. Typoes abound.

Hmhmhmhmhm.....you both want to know what is neded to become werewolf at will? A certain ring at the end of Solstheim's main quest.....sooo much fun ^__^
But anyway to answer your question Zwip...there is no "far in" believe me...you have the choice to do anything...my long blade skill is in my miscellaneous skills and is at 100...sooo stick with unarmored for now...but if you see that it is needed, start to increase your armor skills...light would be perfect...
